Today we mark the anniversary of a loss...
Alysse Nicholson lost her battle with brain cancer one year ago today. She was only a freshmen at my school, and I only knew her through her sister- a former theatre mate of mine. Oh hello
So to catch you up. I didn’t get the lead role as I was hoping. I’m a featured vocalist which is good I guess but I can’t help but be slightly disappointed or whatever.
TONIGHT I got to be a techy- I learned how to do the spotlight. It was so cool haha. Now mind you I’m not even that great at it but it was my first time so give me some credit haha. It was great and I LOVED...

It’s bittersweet because I know that it could get my hopes up but it felt so good. Oh wow being Rosemary was right and perfect and she is me and I am her. Me and Ajay singing together was ridonkulous. He’s got this powerful set of lungs I was trying to compete with in our duet… yeah right haha!
I want this so badly that it makes my chest feel all jittery and jumpy.

Today I did my last high school audition.
Oh ‘twas bitter sweet: the nerves, the anxiety, the shakes the squeaks. It is all part of the process of getting to show off the talent I believe I have. I’m not gonna lie I loved this way of auditioning. Here’s a visual:

Musical Auditions: Day 1
It was a dance audition today. We danced to Coffee Break in How to Succeed and it was frickin amazing. I didn’t fail too badly either! For the last three years of auditions, you have no idea the terrible dancing that I have done. I am not a dancer but this audition gave me some sort of confidence.
So how about you guys? Audition advice for the upcoming monologue and vocal auditions?...

Man I love being in Theatre
Especially the loving program we have.
So it’s my senior year and I’m finally being recognized to do some work… At the worst time ever. I just got a bunch of English homework dumped on me and I’m trying to not drown in Chemistry. Eh shrug.
For our musical auditions I will be in charge of one group and my co-director for the senior production will be running another...
